"It's never too late to be what you might have been." - George Eliot
Spring is a great time to think about rebirth. When I speak with people who hate their jobs, their physical condition, or any of the many things requiring change, I'm encouraged by nature. Winter erases all the mistakes of last year. Spring completely recreates things in fresh ways, and it happens every year. Spring doesn't wish. It DOES!
High school only takes four years. Depending on how much one applies themselves, there can be a radical increase in math, writing, and other skills. Afterward, college is only another four years. The skills obtained, for those focused during that time, can take one to a career impacting the rest of their lives.
Seeing what nature can do in one year, or only four years in college, is proof positive that any of your dreams are within grasp, no matter your age. Who isn't disciplined enough to invest one year to study something enough to become more? (Sadly, too many). Four years can take you to an entire career changing level. Whether four years in college, or 2-4 years in intensive personal study, you can completely master something and become your dream.
So, with Spring upon us, let's begin recreating ourselves. The time will pass anyway. Where might you and your skills be by Fall if you start working on your dream NOW!
