Whenever I photograph young people, I see something absent from most American media. What's that special thing? It's simply "hope."
There's no way to look into a kind and radiant young face and not see a reminder of hope. We run the risk of shifting from hopeful youth into opinionated, sour adults, as a result of ingesting negativity and fear. More than ever, let's change our diet.
When looking through my camera to forever capture young hope, I'm blessed. Not having children of my own, I'm grateful to those who grant me the honor of visually journaling this chapter in their children's lives. I get to experience the hope parents see when they truly connect with their beautiful children. It's in the eyes and smiles....
This beautiful smile prompted a wish to share it with you. Let's remember how important it is to water their hope, and pull the weeds of negativity. It's on us, and it's such a better place in which to live!
