Here in Rochester, NY, we have LONG winters, and short summers. Since yesterday was the 4th of July, we've had that yearly reminder to enjoy this season. How quickly the time period from the 4th to Labor Day passes!
It's also a reminder that, as another summer season is passing, another year of our lives is passing as well. How good are you doing on those goals you set for yourself in January? If you haven't written down important goals for this year, the odds are, not much will change. Get out that pad and your favorite pen and get to work.
How successful have you been in changing time-wasting and bad health habits that impact the quality of your life? If not, don't settle for wallowing in discouragement. You're not defeated until you surrender, and you're NOT going to. Just realize that there's half of the year left to make serious steps. Make today the day you do at least "something" leading to your desired, improved life.
So, enjoy summer, but remember it's a reminder of the passing of time. Get cracking on anything you hoped to accomplish in 2021. You can do it, but you MUST expend the effort to change what you're doing every day. Change one thing today in a positive direction. You can do that!
