More than ever, the stability we gain from our family is paramount. Our value of each other’s lives has come to full awareness. We have so much to be thankful for if we have families. The days continue to shorten as we gradually approach fall. After heading out last night to find some simple beauty, a nice couple volunteered to be my subjects. I hope they check in here to see how nice they looked together. What a wonderful summer we’ve had here in Rochester, NY. Many beautiful days, and just enough rain to keep nature from burning out. Hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy this last summer month before the change of seasons.

It’s always an honor for me to work with skilled artists. This ballerina, currently with New York State Ballet, has been anxiously awaiting return to work with her company. Our pandemic has impacted so many people’s training, work, and dreams. We’re all hoping that brighter days will soon be with us. Once we can safely attend performances, let’s do our best to support artists and their companies. We need the beauty they bring us more than ever!

Having volunteered with kids for many years, preserving keepsakes of their youth is how I now honor children. Youth is incredibly fleeting. Crafted portraits will literally be passed down for generations.
