The Beauty of Youth

Nothing ever stays just as it is. Youth is a special chapter of life. It's a season of beauty, hopes, and aspirations. The world is viewed through eyes yet to be seasoned by years of life's ups and downs. This is as it should be, for it's through somewhat naive eyes that youth are inspired to develop themselves to change the world. It's a time where cynicism hasn't had enough time to derail those who will make big differences in life. So much is possible for those who believe in what older people may find impossible. Thank God the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, and other great contributors kept that youthful belief in the impossible. It's what fueled countless hours of sacrifice and work to bring their dreams to fruition.

The next time you see a young person, appreciate the beauty of the season they are in. Encourage them to dream big dreams. More importantly, encourage them to stick to the hard work that, in itself, is the journey. By reaching for that which will make this a better world, each of them becomes more disciplined, stronger, and has the opportunity to offer something unique no one else was put here to do. That's the best form of beauty anyone can pursue!
