I received an encouraging and kind message the other day. Its affect was the same as when I walk outside on a beautiful Spring day. It reminded me of the impact my words have on others when I sincerely appreciate them in this same way. Here in Rochester, NY, winters are too long for most of us. The combination of limited sunshine, and restrictions on available outdoor activity, can test our character. Most of us feel a degree of depression, both physiologically and mentally. As I was looking through some of my outdoor photo shoots from last year, this image reminded me of the feeling of joy we all can use more often. So, whether we feel this from natural sunshine, or from the sunshine of someone's caring words, the effect is the same. It's not quite Spring here, so let's be someone's sunshine today!
