Are You Grateful For Long-Term Connections?

People who love wine know that the more it ages, the better it becomes. Another thing that becomes richer with time is friendship. I worked for decades with a great team of PT's and OT's. One of my nice colleagues had her desk right behind mine. I remember a picture of her three little daughters on her desk for many years. Being a photographer, I thought it would be an honor to take their senior pictures when they've grown. Well, I got that opportunity, and each time was wonderful. Not only was it awesome to meet these beautiful young ladies, but it was also a way to reconnect with someone I've respected for many years as a co-worker.

So, how about you? Who are some people you've spend decades working alongside, being neighbors with, or simply being friends with? Isn't is comforting that, as much as the world changes, our respect for special people remains constant. Let some of them know how you feel. That's what I'm doing today.
